How to: Refer a Friend’s Business

Scenario: You wish to send a friend’s business an invitation to become a member.

Step 1 – GO TO MEMBER REFERRAL

• Log in to you Prosper² Membership Portal
• In the main navigation click ‘Member Referral’

Step 2 – COMPLETE THE FORM

• Enter the first name, last name, email address, business name of the person/company, telephone number and industry sector you wish to invite
• Select the appropriate level of membership (in this case platinum)
• Click to confirm the person has given you permission for you to invite them to join
• Click the ‘Refer & Save Button’ to send your invitation

Step 3 – CHECK INVITATION STATUS

• After pressing the ‘Refer & Save Button’ you will automatically be taken to the referrals section
• This shows you this referral and any future ones that you will send
• Different status levels:
  • When first sent the status will be ‘Member Invited’
  • When the individual accepts the invite and invoice is waiting to be paid the status will be ‘Member Pending’
  • When the individual has paid the invoice and has become a member, the status will be ‘Member Live’
